This is my "go to" place for cheese steaks. I'd love to comment on the rest of the food but I can't get past the cheese steak! I guess they had an ownership change recently so I don't know if anything has changed recently. The reason the cheese steak is so outstanding is the fresh sub rolls with that slight shiny crunch and chewy center, baked everyday. The quality of the rest of the ingrediance are also delicious. The rib eye is juicy and full of flavor and the "Bomb" adds pepperoni, peppers, onions, sausage, and cheese (i'm getting hungry just typing this review). I wish I had found this place a long time ago!

Here is my 2 cents on the food. This time around it was was fabulous. I got the special of Angry Cheese Steak and Cole Slaw. First the slaw. Home made just tangy and sweet. The cabbage was sliced on long side. Unlike most places which do it small. No added pepper or salt for me. :-). Now main entree. Fresh in house bread. You can tell by the texture and taste. MMMM good. It had thinly sliced beef, mushrooms, onions, green peppers, jalapenos, some yellow peppers, melted gooey cheese. Oh such a delight for my taste buds. Not overly spicy just right. This is definitely a contender for best cheese steak. At least for SWFL. Bravo Del Prado Diner. Now some chit chat. The service and folks were wonderful. They were quick attentive and well organize. From serving a table of 10 people, to phone orders, walk ins for take out, and lonely souls such as myself. It was great. They are open only for breakfast & lunch. So I must return and get some breakfast food. Thumbs up for a great experience.

This place is so disgusting I am surprised it has not been condemned yet. It has a strange yet overwhelming stench when you first enter the door. It smells like urine and grease, which is explained by their overly greasy food and the fact that all the toilets did not flush and all had something in it (If you know what I mean EW)! The service was terrible. We waited about 20 minutes for the server to even come over (notice how I did not say greet us). She did not say her name. No "how are you?" Simply just "what do you want?" How rude is that?! It took an additional 20 minutes to get our waters, fountain sodas and place our orders. The server never checked on us the entire 30 minutes we waited to receive our food. When we asked her to refill our drinks she rolled her eyes and took 15 minutes to come back with them. Ridiculous! My boyfriend even saw a cockroach run across the dining room. So gross. I will definitely never be back here. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT GO HERE. Your money would be better spent at somewhere cleaner with better service!

Great service, excellent breakfast pricing.$3.49 for 2 eggs cooked perfectly, a heaping mound of home fries, toast and 2 good size slabs of bacon. Coffee is great, and staff is very helpful. Recommend this place, especially for a filling, value prices breakfast, that is far superior to the typical big franchises. Thumbs up!

Absolute hands down worst philly I have ever had. First of all I walked in and my shoes were sticking to the floor as I was walking, the counters/table tops were greasy feeling as well as the salt, pepper shakers and pretty much every surface in there. It was almost like the filthy diner stereotype from scary movies haha. But seriously, if you like subpar food and filthy establishments, this is the place for you.

Our experience was atrocious beyond words. In a virtually empty dining room our service was terrible--incorrect order came very slowly to us in stages (we did not order appetizers)--and the food was poorly prepared and presented. To boot, my coffee was served freezing cold and the ketchup at our table was old and rancid. When we complained about a salad, there was great resistance from our server and the chef and we were forced to pay for something we refused to eat. DO NOT COME HERE. Unless you support crackhead crooks, then by all means.

The most horrendous experience of all time. The waitress was seriously on drugs or something. She was very rude as well. My meal came 15 minutes after everyone else and ended up being the WRONG ORDER! Since the friend I was with was almost done with his meal when I got the very first attempt at what I ordered, I told the server not to have it remade and to just take the thing off the bill that I did not order in the first place. She said she would and then ended up leaving it on there. She refused to take it off the bill after I had not touched it OR ordered it. I didn't want to call police or anything over a $12 salad (which I didn't order) so I just paid it and didn't tip her. DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR BUSINESS. Seriously, go to mcdonalds where the food is the same quality but service is faster.

Have been three times. The first time I arrived at 2:15, before their posted closing time of 2:30 and they wouldn't seat me. well, okay so I'll go there for breakfast tomorrow I said to myself. Second visit (the next day) the food was okay but the service was lousy. Hmmm, I'll give it one more shot before I'll give up on it. The LAST time I went, my breakfast came in three different plates at three different times after I had to ask for it. Then I had to ask for tableware. Even though the food was good, the service turned me off enough where I won't go back. Too many other good choices in the area to have to settle for subpar dining.
